The Procedure

After identifying the areas of treatment, our Aesthetician will begin by gently cleansing the problem areas.

Then the treatment begins by placing the Venus Viva hand held unit directly over the problem area and activating allowing the tiny pins that safely deliver heat to penetrate the top dermal layer. The unit is then moved to an adjoining area and the process is repeated until the area has been covered completely. Once the process is complete the area is covered in a moisturizing cream.

The typical treatment last about 45 minutes (unless additional areas are requested) and  has minimal discomfort.

The Result

Utilizing the Nanofractional RF through microneedles creates thousands of micro-penetrations to the dermis, which the body naturally heals. This process repairs signs of skin damage visible on the surface of the skin which includes:

• Acne scars, fine wrinkles, and superficial blemishes
• Pigment irregularities such as sun damage and freckles
• Shallow scars from injuries and surgery
• Hyperpigmentation and rosacea
• Lax skin around the neck, jowls and décolletage
• Rough, uneven skin tone
• Red or brown spots on the skin

Our patients see fantastic results in just a few treatments. Skin damage they believed they were stuck with was dramatically healed by addressing the problem condition at the source.

The End Result

We recommend a peel to accelerate the natural exfoliation process which will keep your skin looking fresh.

For those with sensitive skin or minor issues an enzyme peel produces the following results:

  • Controls acne, shrinks pores, and removes blackheads

  • Diminishes fine lines and wrinkles, and some scarring

  • Reduces age spots and redness

For those with more severe issues the chemical peel is best when it comes to:

  • Diminishing fine lines and wrinkles

  • Smoothing pigmentation and acne scars

  • Shrinking large pores

  • Tightening sagging skin

Depending on your skin type and need we can help find a treatment that is right for you.

FAQ'S

Is the procedure painful?

You’ll feel a slight warmth and pinprick sensations, but the pain is typically minimal. Any discomfort is very short in duration. Most patients will experience mild redness for a few days after treatment as the body’s immune system repairs the micro-penetrations to the dermal layer.

How many treatments do I need?

It really just depends on the severity of the issue. 3 treatments is common with noticeable effects being seen after each treatment.

How long does it take?

Depending on the number and size of the areas being treated, the whole process typically takes around 45 minutes.

How is urinary incontinence diagnosed?

The condition is diagnosed mainly on the pattern of symptoms. Keeping a urinary diary (a record of daily urination, urine accidents and fluid intake) can help your health care provider determine patterns and establish the working diagnosis. The provider will also ask questions about your general health, your history of incontinence, past surgeries, illnesses and any medication you're taking. A physical examination, including a pelvic exam, will be done, and a urine sample will be tested.

Sometimes other, more complicated tests may be needed to establish or confirm the diagnosis or to guide treatment.

How does incontinence relate to age?

Incontinence should not be considered to be a normal condition of aging. Elderly patients should be evaluated in essentially the same way that patients of any age should be evaluated. Incontinence is certainly more common as patients age, but incontinence can be seen in children, adolescents, and adults.

Why should I care about my bladder control problem?

People often live with incontinence without seeking help. Many cases can be cured or controlled with appropriate treatment. Urinary incontinence is the second leading cause of institutionalizing elderly people. The problem can contribute to decreased socialization, decreased quality of life and depression. Getting up at night to urinate also increases the risk of falling and fracturing a hip.
