SkinTyte

Rejuvenate Your

Skin

The Procedure

After identifying the areas of treatment, our Aesthetician will begin by gently cleansing the problem areas.

The treatment consists of light energy which is distributed in rapid, gentle pulses that are repeated over the desired treatment area. This process is continued until a consistent uniform coverage has been achieved. Once complete the areas are covered in a moisturizing cream.

The typical treatment of the face and neck can typically be done within 30 minutes, but the actual time will depend on the size of the area treated.

The Result

As we age, skin loses its youthful firmness and natural elasticity, especially around the jawline and neck where it can add years to your appearance. While no one escapes the forces of aging and gravity, SkinTyte™ can fight against them.

The treatments are safe for all skin types and can be performed on any area of the body where an improvement in the appearance of sagging skin is desired. Popular areas include the face, neck, abdomen and arms. Your clinician’s treatment plan will be tailored to match your skin type and your desired results.

SkinTyte is a generally quick, comfortable procedure, with typically no downtime. The end result is a more youthful appearance.

The End Result

We recommend a peel to accelerate the natural exfoliation process which will keep your skin looking fresh.

For those with sensitive skin or minor issues an enzyme peel produces the following results:

  • Controls acne, shrinks pores, and removes blackheads

  • Diminishes fine lines and wrinkles, and some scarring

  • Reduces age spots and redness

For those with more severe issues the chemical peel is best when it comes to:

  • Diminishing fine lines and wrinkles

  • Smoothing pigmentation and acne scars

  • Shrinking large pores

  • Tightening sagging skin

Depending on your skin type and need we can help find a treatment that is right for you.

How Does It Work?

SkinTyte utilizes advanced infrared light technology, and patient tailored filters to deeply heat dermal collagen while continuously protecting the treated epidermis with sapphire contact cooling for safety and comfort.

This treatment delivers uniform, targeted and deep heat to effectively coagulate soft tissue. This initiates the body’s natural healing process, leading to the appearance of firmer tissue. This is a fast, safe and effective treatment available for all skin types.

SkinTyte can predictably, effectively, and comfortably treat any area of the body where epidermal tightening is desired, giving patients a firmer, more youthful appearance.

FAQ'S

What results should I expect?

SkinTyte procedure results may vary from patient to patient. SkinTyte is recommended for patients who desire
moderate, noticeable skin improvement without having to undergo surgery. Full results often take up to four months.

How many treatments do I need?

This really depends on the starting condition and type of your skin. However, very noticeable improvements will be seen after each treatment.

What should I expect after the treatment?

You may experience some mild redness in the treated area immediately after treatment and this should return
to normal within minutes. Since the SkinTyte procedure is non-invasive there is typically no downtime so you can
resume regular activities immediately following the treatment. You can also apply makeup and sunscreen
after each session.

How is urinary incontinence diagnosed?

The condition is diagnosed mainly on the pattern of symptoms. Keeping a urinary diary (a record of daily urination, urine accidents and fluid intake) can help your health care provider determine patterns and establish the working diagnosis. The provider will also ask questions about your general health, your history of incontinence, past surgeries, illnesses and any medication you're taking. A physical examination, including a pelvic exam, will be done, and a urine sample will be tested.

Sometimes other, more complicated tests may be needed to establish or confirm the diagnosis or to guide treatment.

How does incontinence relate to age?

Incontinence should not be considered to be a normal condition of aging. Elderly patients should be evaluated in essentially the same way that patients of any age should be evaluated. Incontinence is certainly more common as patients age, but incontinence can be seen in children, adolescents, and adults.

Why should I care about my bladder control problem?

People often live with incontinence without seeking help. Many cases can be cured or controlled with appropriate treatment. Urinary incontinence is the second leading cause of institutionalizing elderly people. The problem can contribute to decreased socialization, decreased quality of life and depression. Getting up at night to urinate also increases the risk of falling and fracturing a hip.
